The fern-like leaves are kind of more "spaced out" than those of other similar species -although when the plant is younger, they are closer together which could cause ID confusion. Always use the bracteoles instead for ID.

Cow Parsley is massively similar (hence this being called "Fool's" Parsley as this one is poisonous). But Cow Parsley has much less finely cut leaves and is hairy (Fool's Parsley hairless). The way to be really sure is to check the bracteoles - way different!
